Contributor Applications

Please be sure to read through the following guidelines carefully before submitting your application. Failure to follow these instructions may result in your application being disqualified. What Does Being a Contributor Entail?
Contributors are the heart of the zine. They create pieces of media - art, writing, or merchandise - for people who choose to purchase the zine. Being a contributor means you are confident in your craft and are willing to put it out there for consumption beyond posting or creating for yourself, clear communication with the people you will be working alongside and with, and above all, time and energy to dedicate to the project. Whilst we understand having to drop out of the project due to unforeseen circumstances (life happens, and we totally get that!), we do need confirmation that you can help us bring this zine to life within the outlined timeframe. If this sounds daunting or scary - don’t worry. Us moderators are here to help out, pitch in, and guide you through every step of the way. All we need is for you to apply!
We are looking for:
Writers - 12
Artists - 23
Merch artists - 5

Basic Requirements
1) You are only allowed to apply for one contributor position in the given form. If you wish to apply for more than one position, you must fill out multiple forms. You will only be accepted to contribute in one position.
2) You should have a Discord account. If you are accepted and don't have a Discord account, you will have to make one. This is because the primary and only form of communication between moderators and contributors will be the Discord server.3) You should be 18 years of age or older at the time of joining the contribution team.4) This is a for-charity digital zine; all proceeds go to MSF. The contributors will receive free copies of the SFW zine and NSFW add-on, as well as digital merchandise made for the zine, but there will be no financial compensation.5) Before submitting your samples and portfolio, please make sure all links are accessible. If any links are found to be inaccessible, the application will automatically be disqualified.6) You must be able to commit to the schedule provided, and be flexible enough to accommodate any changes.7) No prior zine experience is required to apply as a contributor.
